RoutePreviewer Tour 1. Log in to GotPermits.com 2. Start RoutePreviewer Start the RoutePreviewer page by clicking on the 'GotPermits BETA RoutePreviewer' link on the application menu page.  3. Generate your Route To use the RoutePreviewer, enter an address for your "from" (origin) and "to" (destination) locations. Click the 'Get Directions' button and the system will find a route between your specified origin and destination. The resulting route has not been checked for vehicle dimensions or bridge load, but rather is just a proposed route for your trip.  4. Find dimensional and NEW bridge load limits Enter the vehicle dimensions and axle configuration information as appropriate and then click the 'Check Trip' button. The system will check the currently defined trip against all the data currently available in the system. The analysis includes an approximate bridge rating. Click here for details. Any problem areas will be shown.  5. Review Results Any problem markers can be clicked to get additional details. If there are any problems along the proposed route, you can “click and drag” the route to a new alternative path. Click the 'Check Trip' button again in order to analyze the new route.  Try it now! |
