GotPermits.com - Getting Started

The Agencies identified on www.GotPermits.com have authorized Bentley Systems, Inc. to provide this limited-access site (the GotPermits.com permit “Portal”) that offers Oversize/Overweight vehicle permits for sale to qualified applicants to travel on the highways and roads of the identified States, as well as other travel-related information.

In order to use the www.GotPermits.com Site, you must first be registered with the site. Some Agencies may require additional authorization. You may not proceed if you have not done so. You may become registered by clicking on this New User Registration link. With your registration, you will receive an Administrator USER ID and a temporary PASSWORD. This will allow you to begin requesting permits for the agencies we currently support.

Permits may be purchased by draw-down escrow account or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover). You can establish a draw-down, Escrow Account with Bentley Systems, Inc. Your current balance will be available to you through the Portal site. The Portal process will not allow application or other steps leading to purchase of a permit to take place if the Account does not have a balance adequate to cover the minimum permit fee of the Agency.

            Seagoing Blanket - $150
            OS Only Blanket - $200
            OS/OW Blanket - $500
            Mobile Home Blanket - $200
            Single Trip Mobile Home - $20
            Single Trip OS / OW / Superload - $20 plus $.04 per ton-mile
            SASHTO - $20 plus $.04 per ton-mile

Return trips can be added to Single Trip OS / OW / Superload and
SASHTO permits for an additional $20 plus applicable ton-mile charges.

This site cannot authorize exemption from West Virginia State permit fee. If West Virginia fees are to be exempt, the request can be started via GotPermits.com but must be forwarded to the State and issued by the State.

Current GotPermits.com Convenience Fee Charge Schedule

For the convenience of use, and the benefits of direct purchasing of OS/OW permits through this site, the following charge will be added in to the Agency's permit fee. This fee will be applied to all carriers and permit services, even if the carrier is exempt from Agency permit fees.

        Any Blanket - $20
        Single Trip Permit up to superload size and weight (14' H, 14' W, 110,000 pounds) - $10 plus $.002 per ton-mile
        Single Trip Permit superload classification - $16 plus $.002 per ton-mile

Nebraska

Single Trip Permit up to superload size and weight (14' H, 14' W, 110,000 pounds) - $10
Single Trip Permit superload classification - $16

South Dakota

Single Trip Permit up to superload size and weight (14' H, 14' W, 110,000 pounds) - $10 plus $.002 per ton-mile
Single Trip Permit superload classification - $16 plus $.002 per ton-mile
